Whole Wellness Counseling is evolving and moving into nature.
Groups are forming
Women's group is beginning April 11th-May 9th Sunday mornings at 9am. In this group process we will create a ritual for your Sunday morning that you can carry with you throughout your week and into the months ahead. We will practice coming together in a collective for meditation, trauma release and processing. We will meet 5 Sundays in a row starting April 11-Mother's day May 9th from 9-10:30am. In this group you will
-Gain a deeper sense of connection with yourself through nature.
-Process through collective trauma, and release it from your body.
-Learn how to hold boundaries for healthy living and relationships.
-Build confidence as you navigate out of pandemic living while holding on to your core values. Come and join a sisterhood of women of all ages!
Our student support group will run on Sundays starting April 11th- May 9th from 11-12:30pm. We will build connections and create a safe place for processing.
-We will practice mindfulness.
-We will have Socratic discussion.
-We will talk CBT skills and practice emotion regulation.
-We will process trauma and get to the other side of the loss from 2020/2021.
Group sizes will be limited to 8 participants per group, so move quickly to secure your seat. Groups will take place in nature at Springwoods Park on Anderson Mill. Reach out, call, email, use the contact form for an initial screening. Cost is $250 for 5 sessions.
We will meet at Brushy Creek Lake park at 9 am on Sunday morning.
Bring a blanket, yoga mat or pillow-a journal and pen, and a bottle of water.
We will begin with a Socratic discussion of boundaries for the group and set expectations for our time together. In doing so we will create a safe container and judgement free space for sharing our experiences and allowing our voices to be heard.
You will navigate your preferences for wearing a mask or not with a safe distance from others while outdoors.
We will practice mindfulness meditation focusing on anxiety and stress reduction while incorporating observance of nature.
We will do some journaling intended to process and release negativity.
We will close our time together with some movement and somatic release.
